Volunteers Needed: 2006 FIRST Robotics competition

FIRST Robotics is back! 33 high school teams – including teams from the Detroit public school system and from the Metro area are making the trek back to campus this spring! This is Wayne State’s 3rd year hosting this event. It is at the Matthaei Physical Education Complex March 16 – 18, 2006. Do you have any students or employees who are looking for some volunteer opportunities? The volunteer process is open for this year’s robotics competition. All volunteers must go online to register. All people who qualify receive training, a t-shirt, a pair of super fantastic safety glasses and meals. There are different shifts available. I have included a link to this year’s game and the volunteer registration site. Deadline for volunteer signup is Wednesday, March 1, 2006

If you would like to set up a table at this year’s event to have a chance to meet with these high school students and get them interested in WSU, let me know.

You can check out the game, just click on the link or copy and paste
